PSE 5
Jag har fått Photoshop Elements 5.0 i present. Förut hade jag Elements 3.0 och i det programmet har jag laddat ner fler brushes (penslar) och fler styles i det programmet. De kom då upp under Lagerstilar och under rubriken Ytterglöd radades alla nya upp. Har nu lagt över alla penslar och lagerstilar men får inte upp lagerstilarna. Penslarna har jag laddat in och det gick jättebra men "styles" gick inte alls. Har lagt in alla asl (se bifogad fil) filerna i program - adobe - Photoshop element 5 - presets - styles så de ligger i programmet. Men de syns inte under lagerstilar så hur gör jag? Väldigt tacksam för svar.
Jag tror det finns en mapp för det som är förprogrammerat i PS och en mapp för det man lägger in själv… kan det ha nåt med det att göra?

Har nu pratat med support och han säger att man kan inte lägga in "styles i PSE 5.0 som i 3.0

Tack sphinx, jag kollade lite mer och du hade rätt. Jag har nu fått reda på att man ska göra följande och det funkar:
How to Install Layer Styles in PSE 5 on Windows XP
If you copied layer styles to the same folder you copied them to in previous Elements versions you may have been disappointed to see they did not show up in the Layer Styles libraries in the Arts and Effects palette. That's because Adobe has moved where they have to be placed.
To install layer styles now, close Elements. Go to the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\5.0\Photo Creations\Special Effects\Layer Styles directory. You can't just put the .asl file into the folder, either, or they will appear in the Bevel library. Make a new folder for them and drop them in the new folder. Now open Elements and the cache will rebuild, and your new styles will be available for use.
